RESPIRATORY REVIEWS

Invites are issued once a year to all patients with Asthma using regular inhalers and those with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

It is important to attend your annual review even when you are feeling well so we can assess your lung condition and how well your medication is helping you at your baseline, not just when you are unwell. You may not need to attend the surgery for this review as the Nurse might be able to discuss your health over the telephone or over a Near Me video consultation.

Your check up may include:

Inhaler technique review

Heath advice regarding diet, weight and smoking

We strongly encourage you to complete an Asthma Risk Check before your Asthma review. You can discuss your results with the Respiratory Nurse at your review.
